Our Family
Close your eyes and take a step 15 years into the past. It is a cold windy December evening in Wisconsin. On the second floor of one of the worst apartment complexes in the greater Wausau area a group of young kids in their teens and early 20’s have come together to do what Wisconsin kids of that age do best…
…for most, it was a standard night, not memorable at all, but as a totally out of place, recent transplant from Texas, and a happy, carefree, wild Redhead from Mosinee caught each other’s eyes from across the room (as they had been doing all evening) little did they know that what would happen next would change their lives forever!!!
And this is where WE started. You could even say that, in this moment, there was a spark, or maybe a seed, that would one day grow into what is now our little branch of the Flood Family, doing our best and making a life here in Central Wisconsin. Exactly 15 years to the day later, Alan and Rachael would find themselves standing on the banks of the Eau Clare River, exchanging vows under the watchful eye of their two beautiful children, less than 100 feet from the site of the home they hope to someday build. Although the past 15 years had been far from fairytale, the only way to describe this moment is PERFECTION!
